Can someone go over the whole A.L. Dunn head change?

I've looked around, and can't find much info about the A.L. Dunn head change in '95.

Why was this done?

Are they better?

Is there any noticeable change in performance?

Do the cars with Dunns (supposedly the last 100 made) have any significant increase in value?

Any info would be much appreciated!
