Can the defroster bezels be installed into the dash after the windshield is installed

I am 99% sure they can of course but with my luck lately I just want to confirm.

I just checked the defrost bezels on my 61 and there was about 1/4" clearance between the bezel and the lower windshield rubber seal, so I think you should be able to install it. The hardest part would be cutting out the vinyl in the dash to accept the trim or bezel; I really took my time with this cut, it is almost the finial step and not the time for an error. I found it easier to install prior to windshield installation.

Ray the only thing I was afraid of was that if I cut them out them before installing the windshield that the vinyl might pull away when I tighten down the windshield. But maybe this isn't a concern. I think I will follow your advice.
