Canadian versus American Z06

We are having trouble getting a Z06 in Canada due to availability so we are considering buying one in the US and bringing it North. It appears we can do that except that we have to make sure the bumpers are up to Canadian standards. Does anyone know if Chevy makes the Z06 with American versus Canadian bumpers on them or are they all the same? Thanks!

The cars are probably the same, but I'd check on the US warrantee. A couple years ago GM stopped honoring the war on the Canadian Caddy CTSs to discourage cross border shopping. I don't know about the Vette.

Canadian Corvettes

Somebody told me that Canadian Corvettes come with moose antlers mounted on the nose and a bushy style spoiler for the tail. Is that similar to the Texan model that has the Longhorns for a hood ornament?

The Canadian gov't site indicates that the 2003-2006 Corvettes "may" require bumper modifications. No specific mention of the Z-06 is made.

Couple of things.

To import a US Z06C6..

1. Front bumper must be detached and a new foam (CDN spec) replaced.
2. No warranty till 12,000km or 6 months in Canada.
