Help! Can't get the hood open

The hood release feels mushy. Passenger side pops open, drivers does not. I know the hood is slightly out of alignment. When I push the drivers side back down, I can hear it click when it locks, so the cable is at least releasing the catch, but maybe not enough. I need to get under there and check the fluids. Hope someone can help me out ( or in, in this case).

Guess you shoulda aligned that hood and adjusted the cables, eh?

There is a tool service shops use to release stuck C4 hood latches. I have one at my shop, but I'm away on a road trip right now and I can't, for the life of me, remember the name of the tool mfg.

Hopefully someone else will know it and post.
