Hello all,
My 81 has a warmed over original motor.
I know it is bored over .030, has large chamber heads and a mild cam upgrade but I don't know what the cam is. The car runs strong, but is a terrible cold starter and needs a good 10 minutes or a reading on the temp gauge until it idles well.
Vette shops here in town have said that the original Q jet and intake are too "cold" for this set up.
What do you recommend for a carb and intake this spring? CFM, choke type, what do you think?
Also, the Computer Command is not on the car, so a standard ignition.
