Carb Spacer

Anyone know how thick you can go over stock on the carb spacer without hitting the hood?

No clue....I think I would stick a stalk of modeling clay on top of the air cleaner sticking straight up about 3 inches, drop the hood and see what ya got....

Great idea. Its a71'. Also going to talk to Brzezinski Racing about thickness. Stock looks like 3/8". I may only be able to double it. Also rebuilding the Q-jet, something about OME carb has NO bushings in it.
