I am looking to put new carpet in the 84 and not sure what I want yet , what is going to be the diiference in mass back and poly back? I noticed there is a price difference of 100.00 or so. Anyway I was told to order through willcox, is this a decent company to deal with? Thanks! Scott

Welcome to CAC.

I don't know the answer to your question regarding the difference between mass black and poly.

However, with respect to Wilcox, they're an upstanding company. I've ordered numerous items from them (including carpets, just last week); all have been top quality, fair priced, and shipping has always been prompt.

I bought Wilcox ACC carpet but haven't installed yet.
The Mass Backed is the original OEM replacement. The difference, I believe, is the rubberized backing on the rear cargo area and driver/passenger pieces.

BTW, I bought them from Wilcox via Ebay, it was cheaper than their website.

Go to ebay, search for 'Corvette Carpet 1984'. You will see Wilcox selling there.
