Question: Carpet Removal:

I want to install some sound deadner under the carpet in my 1980. In the rear, the back wall in between the two rear speakers, how is that held on and what to you have to do to take it down. I don't see any screws or anything. Is it glued up there?

IF its like the '81's...lift up on the carpet,there is a 'hook' like that runs across the carpet and holds it in place.

You lift up the carpet from the underside? Pull the front part up by the seats, and from the back of your seats working your way to the rear, and the hook is on the underside of the carpet?? Underneath??
