Question: Carpet Under Layment.............

Capet Under Layment............. Hey Guys, just have a quick question..............I purchased new carpet from Wilcox Corvette (ACC) and hope to start installing it next week. I also purchased thermal heat barrier to help keep the heat down. The real question is: do I still need to purchase new jute padding to place between the barrier and the carpet or will the heat barrier work in place of the jute padding?

I only put reflectix down and then the carpet with the attached padding.
When I pulled the old stuff out, there was just the old reflective pad and the carpeting.
