Hi everyone,
How difficult is it to change the body frame mounts? I'd like to try it on my own. Do I need to lift the body completely off or can I work each rubber mount individually by lifting the body to gain enough clearance for that particular mount, any recommendations would be grealy appreciated.

Thanks all

I personally havent done it but, I would lift the whole body at least a few inches to get at them.I would figure doing one at a time wont get you enough room to get them out. No less run the chance of cracking the body due to stress by just trying to lift one corner of the body.

Thanks for the insight black vette. You sound right about flexing the body to much. I've also read on other posts, that the mounting bolts might snap and depending on which one, can be a bear to get out for lack of room, thus lifting the body anyway. I figured I'd asked since having the rear torque control arms and differential removed it might make the job easier.

Thanks again
Ray
