I am going to change the sway bars on my F45 equipped car to either the Z51 or Z06 bars. Has anyone else made one of these mods? If so, what are your impressions.

I really don't know what I am trying to accomplish as far as changing the ride but I have a Z51 front bar and am going to purchase the Z06 kit from Fitchner Chevrolet when I get to Italy (in about 3 weeks). That way I can try both to see which I like better.

You will have much better cornering and stability with less roll. Be sure and get the metal end links. I have the Z-51 bars I put on in 2000!

I did it on my 97 with F45, it is a big improvement. Cornering will be flatter and feel much more stable.

Finally got the Z06 bars installed

From first impressions the ride is less jarring over the bad roads here in Italy. The dampng seems to be better from the SOTP perspective. Hopefully this weekend I can take it out for a drive on some twisties and see what the difference is.
