I constantly have a code 24 coming up. I've changed the throttle position sensor, fuel pump, and fuel filter. What else can I look at or change? ;shrug

IIRC, the VSS is mounted into the back of the speedometer head. If that one is, it's held in with a small bolt. Under the sensor, the back of the speedo has 2 blades that pass the window when the speedo is turning. If some grease gets on the blades, it'll confuse the sensor and set the code. The service manual has the diagnosis stuff in it.

Is the VSS a yellow box with wires running from one side, if so I was given one when I bought it.

Can you post a picture of it?

yb.dll
This is a VS buffer, is it not the same?

Yup. That little black plug goes into the back of the speedo- it's a LED/Photocell thing that "sees" the blades in the speedo go by.
