Hello. I'm new on here but I've read through some of the messages on here and was hoping to get some help with my problem.

It happened about 2 months ago. I started the car on a bright sunny day and it advised me that I was out of gas. (I really wasn't.. ) I stopped by a gas station, refilled with about 10 gallons and ever since then, the check engine light is on.

I pulled the code from the DIC, it indicates "P0410 AIR System" in the PCM section. I've reset this a few times via the DIC reset button but the light keeps coming back on. Anybody know what this is? By the way, the car runs more than fine..
Thanks

Hi there,
Your Po410, is telling you that there is something wrong with your air injection pump in your c5. This however is different from the fuel tank issue.
The first course of action is to check to see if you hear a huming noise from underneath the lower left headlamp assembly, when you turn the car on cold.
If you do hear something, that turns off after about 2 mins, then you may have some bad air injection check valves. Otherwise, you may have a bad air pump itself.
As for your fuel tank problem, that is a different story.
You may have a problem with the passenger side tank sensing unit.

Thanks Specialist. I appreciate the help. I have a strong feeling the gas tank issue is the same as what you were talking about in an earlier post. I'll be trying to resolve the air pump issue. I did a search on Google and there's apparentlt a fuse that was blowing on some F Body cars. The SES light would look for that. I'll be looking at that and if its blown, for a short. Thanks again.
