Cleaning the INSIDE of the frame rails

How are you guys cleaning the inside of your vettes framerails ?? And...if you are applying some sort of rust inhibitor after youre done cleaning out the inside...how are you getting it to cover the entire length of the framerail ???

I was considering removing the frame rail covers by the rear wheels by grinding the welds. Mostly to have a good look in there but if I did see a problem area I would make an extended scraper or brush to get at it. I would then use a rust preventative like Rust Check or similar. Then just weld the covers back on.

Just an idea.

Would you blast out the crud using a high pressure washer , or, using compressed air ?
