Wife and I took a ride to the Cape today. Hot day, one & 1/2 hours of highway driving with the top down and AC on. The last 10 miles were stop and go almost gridlock. Stopped for lunch and after 2 hours returned to car to restart and my foot couldn't find the clutch petal. Dah. ,The clutch petal was all the way to the floor. knelt down and manually lifted it up and things were fine all the way home. any ideas, 2000 M6 vert with 35 K on it. Any idea what happened. I know it's time to change the fluids, could this attribute to it. Thanks a lot. Mike

I'm sure you got this figured out last year. But, for those that don't know...the clutch hyd system can get loaded with crud. To the point of the pedal sticking to the floor.
The "Ranger Method" has been shown to reduce this malady from occurring. It's quite easy, too.

I just bought a 2006 that had crud in the clutch M/C. I've R & R'd the fluid about 8-10 times. It is certainly getting better, but it's not perfect yet. Started out looking like "cowboy coffee." Now it looks like weak tea. The car has 93,XXX miles on it, so the clutch has been used a bit.

Search: "Ranger Method."
