Question: Clutch time

Hello.
I had a C4 sold it and am now looking at a C5. It has about 70,000miles and had a leaking clutch slave cylinder and another pretty bad engine oil leak. I’m pretty handy and have googled the whole clutch replacement thing.
I want to finish this ASAP, so how long do clutches normally last in these cars and what normally leaks above the oil pan on these cars. Thanks.

Clutches can last anywhere from 10 miles or less, to 150K miles or more depending on how they are used and how the vehicle is driven.

Oil leaks can be anything, clean all the areas up thoroughly and monitor the leak/s following to the highest point on the engine and start there. Repair the highest point and monitor again, there could be be multiple leaks. If not your done. Common leak areas are the oil pressure sender and the valley pan under the intake manifold, sometimes valve covers. Clean the areas and do a proper diagnosis before replacing anything.
