Trying to show off a little yesterday and reved the engine to 2500 RPM and dumped the clutch. The pedal came out about 3 inched and stopped. RPM went up and could definately smell the clutch burning. Afterwards I went through the gears, without getting into it, and it worked fine. Now for the novice question. Would bleeding the clutch fix this or is it just my clutch needs to be changed?

Hi there,
There is a service document within the GM database.
The process is more than just a clutch exchange.
It will involve the replacement of the master cylinder, slave cylinder, and the clutch assembly.
There is no TSB as of this time, however, your local c5 specialist should be able to advise you accordingly.
