Well i sure could use some help...I have searched the past posts and have had no luck with all the advice given out.
I was on my way home on a 3 hr trip and my fan was on continuosly,my check engine light was on as well.I check the codes and got a 14/34.
I change my mas relays (2) and my fan relay (1) my coolant sensor. I have a new rad but i checked for debris in front of my rad.Now my fan will not go on at all and the temp rises up two 268 deg.Igot my manual out and followed it step by step with no luck, everything checks ok but still no fan!!!

I have a 1986 Vette and sure could use some advise before i take it to the shop.

Thks Scooter.

I'm not sure this will help but, Code 14 is Coolant temperature sensor and is set if the temp of the coolant exceeds 266 F for 3 seconds or more. Code 34 is the mass air flow ( MAF ) sensor. it sets for low air flow.

Well i hooked up a aux switch for my fan and also changed the thermolstat 2 a160.Took it for a spin and seams 2 b fine,Temp is holding around 175 with the fan off.I ordered a bottle of redline water wetter should be here on tuesday.

Is there a way off checking the maf sensor?????.Im thinking my ECM may b going south,is there a way of checking that as well.

Any info on this would b great.

Thks...Scooter
