After trying everything that was recommended (see posts for code 33 and 36 and engine missing), I decided to change the plugs and install new spark plug wires. No more codes and no more missing. Only crisp acceleration and smooth idle.
I went to different forums and in one of them it said that code 36 could also be problems with the ignition. So, I started pulling the plug wires and found one that had the connector separated from the cable!!! Changed all wires and PRESTO. Thanks for all your help.
