Coil spring labels

When removing my front coil springs, I noticed they were labeled "MA".
Correct labels for '74 is (if I'm right) supposed to be EA (for HD susp.), HT (for normal) or HV (for big block).
I have the 7-leaf gymkhana rear spring.
Anyone recognize the "MA" label?

Take a look here at the bottom of the page for a listing of the '73 spring tags. Believe that the 73 and 74 used basicly the same spring.

The MA appears to be the base spring.

Thanks Tom, it makes sense.

Strange though that Corvette Central (my source above) has completely different labels.
