Took the ZO6 on about a 300 mile fast jaunt Friday with plenty of high speed spurts and it clearly runs better now....as in more power. Prior to the run, the car was putzed around town on 40 mile errands and the like for a few weekends.
I really don't believe that a modern fuel injected car that controls fuel intake, air, timing, etc. builds up the carbon that needs to be "blown out" like some people still think. Am I wrong on this?
The question is: does the ECU adjust itself to make the car perform better after a hard drive? I used to have an M series BMW that acted the same way.
