Convertable top adjustments?

The soft top on my 73 is not working right. It will go up and lock in place but when i hit a bump the left back pops up. I have replaced the Male piece on it because the threads on the old on were worn out. The pin seems to be too far forward and not making good connection with the keeper in the hole. Is there an any/easy way to adjust it?

Is it possible that your latch assembly is not returning all the way to the latch position? You can adjust the rods going to the latches to make sure they are fully releasing.

I had the same problem, and I was not releasing.

Thanks. I will give that a look. If that is not the case is there any way to adjust the rear bow? The problem started when I moved the right side back to try to make it where the window wouldn't hit the top when the door was closed. I took it to a local "corvette" shop and they told me the window was out of alignment. I know that is not the case and that it is the top because I can put the hard top on and everything is perfect!
