Cool Callaway GS for sale

Did it actually sell this time? I think the bidding went up to 29,7xx ???

Nice wrapper but I do not think it has the "guts"

I believe this was the third time this car was recently listed on Ebay. Prior times the reserve price wasn't met. Sold for $26,927.02 this time. Very nice car!
:)

An auction for a 1991 series 500 (#505) burgandy TT aerobody roadster (with hardtop) and 5700 miles ended just yesterday at $43,778. The reserve price was not met. This car was beautiful!

Last time the burgandy car was for sale the price was 75k! The first time he listed it he wanted 10k over sticker :L at 109k

I talked to the seller last night. This car has had three owners in the short 5700 mile life of the vehicle. It reportedly sold for $75,000 the a couple of years ago with 2000 miles and the current owner purchased it with a little over 5000 miles (undisclosed price).

Are there any yellow Callaway TT owners on this site?

The last time that car was on ebay. I had bid $40000 I was the high bidder for the car . The reserve was not met and he emailed me that I was close to the reserve.

Hey TAC,

Nice car! This is the first yellow Callaway I have seen... and a convert to boot.

Thanks for the link to the photos.

Im thinking you'll be very happy you didn't win the auction if the deal on the black car works out. :D

Thanks. I can't quote all years #s but I can tell you there were 4 yellow TT convertibles in '87. That's from Joanne at Callaway. I still can't take my eyes off it when I'm in the garage. :D :D
