Coolant recovery tank

I attempted to install the coolant recovery tank today; I received it yesterday. The tank doesn't appear to fit on the fender anywhere. It's molded in the wrong way it appears. I'm assuming it goes on the front passenger side fender by the radiator. Any suggestions? The tank is for a 74 and came from corvette central.

Your AIM will show the exact location for mounting. The Corvette Central tank fits perfectly on '74- '77

I don't have an aim. I only have the chilton's manual. I guess I could try looking it up in there, but I doubt it'll be in it.

Does anyone happen to have any pictures of where the coolant overflow tank mounts on the 74. I got the tank from corvette central for a 74. I can't seem to find any holes where it used to be mounted and it doesn't set flush against the side of the engine bay.

Can't imagine working on a car without one.

The AIM is a must have if you are going to do any work on the car.
