Is Dex Cool the best for original 67 SB radiator? What other brands will work? Can Dex Cool be mixed with other brands...green stuff? :confused

My own personal opinion is to use the "green stuff" versus the extended life coolants that are available nowadays. I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to mix the two types either. Just flushed out my radiator today and filled it back up with the normal type coolant; Prestone or Peak are good brands. I'm sure other people here will have more knowledgeable opinions ;shrug

I wouldn't use the Dexcool formulation in our older cars - it's known to leach the lead out of soldered joints (which new cars don't have), and that's bad news for our heater core joints. I'd stick with the "green stuff" or the new GO-5 formulation.
