The cooling fans on my Vette will not come on. Only one comes on when I turn the A/C on. Maybe it a simple fuse or relay.

Also, I was crusing around 55 MPH and I floored the gas. The car bogged down and almost died. I let off the gas and hit it again and it was fine. It also bogs down once in a while when I pull out from a stop sign.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Go ahead and replace your fan relay found on the driver side of the radiator support next to the headlight bucket.

Any check engine lights? Possible bad tank of gas?

cooling fan

mine didnt come on.....1989....i replaced the thermostat and it works

First off, are the fans not coming on, or is the car not hot enough? They won't kick on with the A/C off until about 230 degrees.

Your second problem could be opti-spark related... it could be on its way out, and not adjusting the timing properly.
