Some of the things he wants to sell are freebies if you are an NCRS member. Others you may or may not be interested in. You need a shop manual but you have a '64 so you need that suppliment also. You need the Corvette AIM book which he's not selling and you can purchase. If you are going to restore or show your Vette you could use the judging manual. The best ofs and fact books to me are frills but if you're interested go ahead. I wouldn't offer more than $30 and I would go and buy exactly what you need to do exactly what you want to with your car. Opinions may vary.

I think they're worth more than $30. You can probably look many of them up on Amazon.com (they often have used books available from vendors). Best of Corvette Restorer should bring at least $20, 63 shop manual $15, Best of Vette Views perhaps $15, Corvette News maybe $1 each, Corvette Restorer Issues maybe $15.

Illustrated Buyers Guide is still in bookstores, but only useful to an absolute novice who has trouble recognizing a stock Corvette. Subscription magazines are near worthless. I have no idea of what "Several Vols (12) NCRS" are, and I've been an NCRS member for many years, unless they are logo'd hardcover notebooks holding issues of the Corvette Restorer magazine, in which case they might be worth good money (at least several dollars per issue therein).

Frankly, I'd estimate the total value closer to $100. If you're a Corvette nut, together they'll give you many, many evenings of reading pleasure.

Judging guide is probably out of date, not worth much. Haven't heard of Restoration Source Book (sounds like perhaps a vendor listing), nor of 63-67 Corvette Restoration Basics.

I agree with attret, but make sure the JG (judging guide) is an up to date version. NCRS publishes new versions now and again to correct mistakes (we hope).

What do you want to do with your car? If you want to show it concours or make a TQ out of it, you need the AIM (asembly instruction manual), JG and Chevy shop manuals. The complete NCRS up to date library of Restorer articles may also be helpful.

If you actually intend to drive it, Corvette Fever is a hoot, and this forum is the place to be. The AIM and shop manuals will still be needed if you do your own work, or if you need to take the car to a shop that doesn't have them. My Chevy dealer lost his manuals decades ago, and I need to give him mine to fix the A-C, etcetera.

I will give you $30 for them in a heartbeat, I have been trying the best of the restorer on Ebay for months.
