I found this window sticker, online and found it interesting that it was sold new by a dealer in NJ and "delivered" to Michigan - to the factory who converted the cars for use in the Challenge series.
This is similar to the process used for the 87-91 Callaway Corvettes - those cars showed selling dealer then, Old Lyme as the shipped to dealer :)

Here is the Corvette CHallenge window sticker:

and a link to the auction - yes, it's for sale :m http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6168&item=2416960234

Interesting. The price of the Z51 package increased $500, from $795 in 1987 to $1295, in 1988, while the Delco-Bose sytstem decreased by $132, from $905 to $773. The defog system and driver seat price remained the same though.

Overall, this is exactly as mine was built except for the bronze top and automatic transmission, and the price differential was $965 ($33,043 versus $32,078).

By the way, I thought all Challenge cars were equipped with manual transmissions? :confused

_ken :w
