I sent an email to Chevrolet Customer Assistance in reference to a possible Corvette racing event to be sponsored by GM and held at Watkins Glen NY. I referenced a posting from a different forum, Watkins Glen as the birth place for the concept of a GM sports car, The Corvette and that one of the first Corvettes was used as a pace or leader car. I thought it would be neat to have a large Corvette gathering and a road race in the same weekend. I received a response to my email and have sent letter to the parties listed:
