1966,and a 1962 thats almost complete
I had refrenced an article the From the September Corvette Enthusiast Magazine in a different post (If you enjoy corvettes this is an excellent magazine,I had actually cancelled my subscribtion to this magazine and renued it once John Z started wrighting for it ) any ways it shows the current pricing of corvettes and it also compares there pricing to last year.In veiwing the price guide it shows the majority of the earlyer car 1953 up to 1982 have had a price increase over the last year some only small amounts but most of the small increases are above what a 12 month jumbo cd would have paid (jumbo means at least 100,000.00 investment)And the majority of the others came up at least 10% with some as high as 26% the only car I found in the listing that did not increase in price was the 1978 pace car.

So it seems beside being a fun car to own and drive we also have some ROCK SOLID INVESTMENTS.

Yes! Thanks for the post. This is exactly what I've been telling the little lady. Of course, she'd never believe it from me so now I can show her this.

"Ah, honey, as you can see right here I only bought it for the investment value."
Her reply, "Yeah, right. All you Corvette guys stick together.":L

I did buy mine as an investment, so to speak. I really wanted an 02 Z06, but couldn't stand to lose money on one (as I believe their value will continue to drop some once the C6 comes out), so I bought a 66 vert. Haven't regretted it for a second, although I still want the Z06 someday.

It's nice to put money into a car for once, where I may not get rich, but at least I'm not losing 1k or so a month.

I agree with the logic but I keep remembering and old post that says if you want to make a small fortune start with a large fortune and invest in old vettes. Only kidding.

Best regards,
Gerry
