The petersen museum in LA (not lower alabama) was supposed to have a special event for the drive your vette to work day. does anyone know if it happened? how was it....

I had planned to drive the ol' Vette to work today, but we're having a bad storm. Now the car won't shrink in the rain, nor rust<G>, but flying tree limbs are hard on the paint job (and hence my nerves).
