There were a couple of C3's running well at the 1/8 mile race track here in KY. There was a 76 that ran 7.26, and a 75 that ran better than that. There was a big crowd because the promods ran tonight. These promods are running 4.12 sec and 176 miles per hour on 1/8 mile! There were a lot of Corvette bodies on the chasis of these; my uncle has a 67 type body on his drag car he raced tonight, he ran a 4.88 I believe. I would guess my 81 would do low 9's on that track. I haven't raced mine yet because it seems to be some type of addiction, a monster you have to keep feeding! It was a good time and there were a lot of vettes there!
