All - I Saw this in a few threads - very sad as he was such a friend to the Corvette & his organization has been very supportive of the Callaway Owners and their cars over the years.

Here are a few links for more on this:

God Bless Chip - Thanks for all you contributed to the hobby

"It is with great sadness that we must announce that Corvettes at Carlisle Co-Founder, Chip Miller has passed away.

Corvette Enthusiast, supporter and friend, Chip Miller of "Corvettes at Carlisle" passed away last night. Chip had been sick for the past few months and suffered with a rare bone disease called primary amyloidosis.

He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by all.

Close "bud" and NCM Past Chairman, Mike Yager of Mid America Motorworks commented, "Chip will be sadly missed as he was such a terrific "torch bearer" for the Corvette and the Corvette community."

We invite you to share your thoughts with the Miller family by signing a special guest book for Chip available here: http://www.caringbridge.org/pa/chip.../guestbook.html

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Miller family"

If you would like to send cards, letters, etc. to Judy and the family, their address is:

Judy Miller
1040 Bryn Mawr Road
Carlisle, PA 17013

Dad passed away last night in Rochester, MN at approximately 12:30am CST without any pain. He had a smile on his face which let us know he was happy to move forward on his journey to a much better place. It was beautiful to see him with the sign of peace as he ventured off to his new home where someday we’ll all be joining him. Rest assured he’ll keep a warm spot for all of us in his new found destination - Heaven…

Memorial service details are listed below – you are all more than welcome to attend:

APRIL 3, 2004 @ 1PM

Otterbein United Methodist
647 Forge Road
Carlisle, PA 17013

Our family will be donating money to an Amyloid research facility. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the:

Chip Miller Charitable Foundation
1000 Bryn Mawr Road,
Carlisle, PA 17013-1588

This will help research and hopefully cure this rare disease. We appreciate all of your love & support during this trying time – especially Dad.

Evie, Jen, Lance & Judy

Chip deserves special recognition because of his efforts in the Corvette World. As an avid collector and fellow owner, he formally recognized the Callaway Twin Turbo Vettes and gave us a distinctive parking section for the Callaway Owners Group at his nationally reknowned "Corvettes at Carlisle" show.
