Could this possibly be a Corvette part?

This part is powder coated so I figure it was to go under the hood somewhere. It is 11" long. Could it be for a Corvette?

There was no powder coating on C3s. I do not recognize the part. What model year do you think it is for?

Mystery solved

I found out that this is a license plate bracket for a 1970-72 Chevelle. Thank you for replies.
