Cracked Moon roof!

I pulled my vette out this weekend for a quick drive down the road, and CRACK!, a large crack appeared in my moonroof! It has been sitting in a 65 degree garage, and the outside temp was around 9 degrees. Do you suppose that had anything to do with it? Or does this just happen?:cry

Sorry to hear this. I would say yes the temp difference plus you have the stiffest suspension on a C4 you can get.
for the next time, I have the both tops and when it turns cold and I want to take the vette for a drive I use the solid top, it might be worth looking into kinda cheap insurance against the cracked top. They are kinda pricey to fix. you could find a cheap solid top maybe on e-bay or at one of the salvage yards.

Its a common problem,it was just your turn.the body flex had alot to do with it,but it was going to happen either way.:cry

About the best thing you can do is get a new/rebuilt top.....
Or find a good used one....
