Cragar Wheels

:( Looking to put on the timeless styling of the Cragar S/S 5-spoke design wheels on this winter.

15 in. x 8 in., 5 x 5 1/2 in. bolt circle, 4 in. backspacing, or
15 in. x 8 in., 5 x 5 in. (14 mm) bolt circle, 4 1/4 in. backspacing,

I didn’t measure the bolt pattern on the stock 77 yet, but i want that deep-dish look, the deeper i can go the better without any cuts into the fiberglass or lifting the suspension.

Does backspacing of 4 inch or the 4 1/4 give me a deeper dish on the outside looking at that wheel?

I don’t understand this backspacing deal at all! :confused

You get a deeper looking dish with less back spacing. However, you have to watch out that you don't push it so far out that it rubs the outer lip.

Usually, you can go with a 9.5" wide rim and 5" backspacing. This will get you in there.

A safe bet is to run a 8" rim on a 4.5" backspace all the way around.

Maybe I'm confused, but the Chevrolet bolt circle is 4 3/4" not 5" or 5 1/2".

Two different things. I think he was wanting to know about the back spacing, not the bolt pattern. The back spacing is the distance from the extreme outer lip of the rim to the back of the hub where it bolts to the car, where the bolt pattern is the number of stud holes, and the distance between when you skip every other one.
