Does the center bolt need to be removed for the pully to be removed?

Thanks for the info. The pulleys were no problem to take off. About 1 hour total time.

BTW, I drove the car tonight with headlights on and at idle the alternator still read 13.8 volts. I didn't have the radio on, but that is way better then I expected.

Yeah what pulley did you install?

Vetteboy86 and I both installed the two piece pulley system from TPIS http://www.tpis.com/index.php?module=catalog_page&catalogPageNumber=7&catalogSubCategory=Pulley+Sets
Part number 100-351.

I have driven the car about a half a dozen times after the install and have not noticed anything lower then 13.5 volts on the gauge, so I have no issues with charging problems. Hope this helps.

Only thing the website has wrong is the use of the factory belt is NOT retained. I think we both had to go to an 80 inch belt.
