What winter crossfire projects are you doing over the winter?
I think I will try porting my extra intake. Can a little cordless dremel do the job? And which bits to use?

Well you can do it, a dremal will work pretty good. but you have to be really careful. There is very little material to spare. And your going to have to have some guideline with which to use. A little too much and the intake is ruined. A better process is extracthone, I believe it is the name. They use a blown material process where they can control the exact amount per post the will give you the best results. If you wanted to 'polish' the ports then that is a lot safer. I ask Hib Halverson what he thinks about porting a cross-fire intake. There are two other EX-GM engineers here at CAC who could guide you much better that I. FWTW, a little back info on the cross-fire intake, it originally was designed to be fitted 180 degrees than it is, but it was already produced and in stock before the mistake was caught. that's why the throttle cables are so long.
