Hello
I have a 1982 collectors edition.
The engine is lacking power and idle rough.
The check engine light is on.
I removed the air cleaner and found fuel going into both injectors ok.
If I put in a rag and blocked the fuel from the throttle body on the front injector,the engine stalls right away.
If I do the same thing on the rear injector,it seems to idle a little rougher but keeps running. Anyone have any ideas.

Since you have a CEL on, you might want to see what is wrong before doing anything else and go from there.

Agreed! Retrieve the trouble code first.

Short pin A and B together on the ALDL connector then turn the key to on opsition, but don't crank the engine.

It could be as simple as some bad gas in the tank. It happened to me.
