I suppose it was cool in '59. I contacted B-J to find out what number this '53 is.

Well it turns out that this is 1953 Corvette #77. I wonder what it will sell for. I was looking at the pictures closer and I know that I have old car magazines with this Corvette in them. Around 1960 or so.

Ken - I appreciate craftsmanship, engineering, and ingenuity, but I guess "taste" varies for each of us :)
 
It's kind-of-like wanting a 1959-1961 Linclon and buying the Batmobile.
(I heard that's what they started with).:crazy
 
Should have left it stock. The front end looks like a Studabaker. Terrible way for #77 to end up.
 
It sold to ProTeam for $80,000 (plus commissions, etc) at BJ. See it's for sale at $120,000 today. Nice profit :) Chuck
