They are cute commercials, but I have to register my surprize. Earlier this summer, the new commercial for the C6 (I think it was called "A Boys Dream" or something like that) was pulled because consumer groups thought it was promoting unsafe driving. The commercial showed- through daydream like filters- a boy flying throught the air in a new coupe, driving through huge concrete drainage pipes and tearing through downtown streets.

So now we have a commercial where the Cobalt keeps bumping the Corvette in the rear and the Corvette spins around after its had enough of these jolts. While the sibling rivalry thing is an evident theme in all three commercials, why aren't consumer groups screaming about one car intentionally bumping another?

Don't get me wrong- I like these commercials. And I liked the C6 daydream commercial, too. I just don't get the inconsistency.

Because a 12 year old child wasn't driving during the commercial. That was the only gripe with the commercial from what I can tell.
