jetboat89, is that it, read my question on installing them on vettes that dont have them, opinions good, not good sound ok doesnt sound ok, i know they are remote control. thanks krh

krh,

I have the NPP option on my 08, so factory bypass/cutout which is flaps. Added a remote myself not too difficult just a bit time consuming I have about $25 in it, the pre-made kit can be had for about $100.

As to sound, pretty harsh, loud and really drones at highway speed. My LS3 also burbbles and back fires when you let off the throttle. Kills the low end torque and wipes out about 3 mpg, kinda fun every once in awhile but I mostly keep mine closed. If your looking for a more agressive sound I would go with an aftermarket exhaust in lieu of the bypass, just my .02..............;)

Sorry, just trying to be "cute" with slang.
Yes, "cut-outs" can be installed on a C6 for about $1000 from any competant exhaust/muffler shop. Your car will "pop" on decel, unless you get it tuned after the install.
