Dale Earnhardt Corvette

Does anyone remember these vettes?... the yellow was made by Chevy for Dale Jr. and Dale Sr. for running the 2001 Rolex 24hr. race.. I think only 2 produce (1 each)....

The black was a special DE Edition that was a sweepstakes winner (i think)...

Just wondering if anyone had any more photos of the cars... I got some more on a disc somewhere but cant find it.... i thought about making me a replica of the Yellow vette.... :cool

More Dale Vettes

Dale Earnhardt also had more vettes in his collection... His was a BLACK '98 Coupe, and the Yellow C5R Special.

He also bought a Corvette for each member of his family and kids... The year of the Corvette matched the same year that family member was born.

I found 2 more of my photos... these are photos of Dale Jr.'s C5R Vette inside JR Motorsports... He wanted his car with all the race day decals just like the real race car, while his dad did not want the decals on his.
