I'll skip the "big show" this year and read about it in the paper.

I'm having the house recarpeted starting Sunday and the TV and DVR will be disconnected for most of Sunday - probably. Oh well.

Jr knows how to run the restrictor plate tracks when his car is working right. In the past, he and the crew haven't done a good job of keeping his car right. If it's right, he' be up front most of the day. Then it's up to everyone else not to hit each other.

Some say the 88 inherited his Dad's knack for plate racing and he's got a new, and hopefully better, crew but, the odds of anyone winning Daytona from the pole are high. Going against jr. is history....last year, Hendrick cars won no plate races and Jr. has never won a points race in the COT on a restrictor plate track.

Needless to say, it will be an interesting race.

If you watched the Bud Shootout it sent a clue as to what may happen .The smart ones will drop about half a lap back and just cruise until the last 25 laps because the field will be cut in half .

It just didn't dawn on me that Dale Jr's gonna win to mark the 10 anniversary of his fathers death! That would generate all kinds of interest and get NASCAR back ahead in ratings! Just watch!
