Danica Patrick will be in a Jack Roush NASCAR Ford next season, bank on it. Well, don't bet the ranch, but there is a growing sense that that is the momentum on the issue, if the sexy Indy-car star does make the leap into stock car racing, as she has hinted. And in the NASCAR garage here at Infineon Raceway Roush himself pondered the Danica option Friday. Patrick herself has been talking around the NASCAR possibility for several weeks now but insists she won't be making any announcement of where she'll be racing next season until this fall. Patrick in a Roush Ford? Hey, what really are Patrick's NASCAR options, if she wants to be able to win? Rick Hendrick's operation is full, and so is Richard Childress', and Chevrolet doesn't appear in any mood to spend more money in NASCAR, less if anything.

When JR was moving in it was rumored and I even remember hammond saying JR was all but "locked" into going to JGR and Visa. These things are all speculation.

Best fit is with Stewart. (if there is a fit at all) He has a winning team,(extension of HMS). He is driving himself and is doing well so the princess cant say "well the equipment is junk". Stewart has open wheel experience and even a championship so he has proven he can drive anything and could probably translate the open wheel to stock car info better than anyone. Stewart wont take any crap from her either.

The new USF1 Formula 1 Team has Danica on their list of possible drivers also.
Danica has plenty of options and I'm sure she's not going to close any doors too soon.

If she went with Roush or Stewart in NASCAR, she'd be in top equipment. Can't say that for USF1 but if the FOTA group starts their break-away series next year, USF1 would be near the top of the heap in what would be left over in F1.

I doubt that she'll be in NASCAR next year!

I also doubt it for next year. If she heads for NASCAR it wont be in a Sprint Cup car anyway. She would have to work up to those. IMHO
