Any tips on putting on e.brake slide I've heard you can slide over handle,but I'm scared I'll break it then a week for a new one transit time

I'm not going to help... but here's how I did it.

I pushed and I pulled, finally prying it through the handle. I had given up after 5 minutes of trying to be gentle, then I got ****ed and forced it through.
To my surprise, didn't brake the slider. :eek
