dash lights

Got a problem here with the dash lights. They will just go off and stay off. Hit a bump and they might and might not go back on, I know its a short but where??

are you talking about your digital reading?

yeah mine does that too right now, i think its a poor ground

grounding is a major problem with corvettes

I understand that when the digitals go out and the turn signels stay on along with the bright lite indicator its the pod and they run $326 used. Can these be fixed?

yeah

but when something eletrical goes out and then back on.. while hitting bumps and stuff

its like a 85 chance of it being a poor ground
i have the same problem, i havn't tried to fix it yet

but when i had my engine apart i think i located the ground for it

on the block back side of engine near firewall below the back side of the valve cover.

not sure though
