what is the rule of thumb when it comes to date coded glass?I thought I remember someone saying once that it was three or four months prior to the build date of the car.If I have a july car what date should the glass be?

"Typical" is 2-4 months prior, but NCRS allows full credit for glass dated up to a year prior to the car's final assembly date; one of the few exceptions to the "six-month rule", as Corvette glass was made in "batches" due to the low volume.
