I 'may' watch Daytona (and the other plate-races because of the strategy & finesse-involved ), simply because it IS Daytona, but that is only-if my fiancee is working, or if it is raining here, and I have nothing-else to-do (but I ain't gonna watch 3 hours of pre-race hype and commercials, followed by some slacker butcher the National Anthem ):
otherwise, we'll be out-and-about.


I 'may' watch Martinsville (it sure-seems like they destroyed ol' Bristol ), simply because it will have hard-racin', and these guys can't get strung-out and/or stroke, like they do at California, Texas, Loudon, etc.:


with both Richmond races being Saturday-evening events, I'll probably be at Bradenton Motorsports Park or Orlando Speed World Dragway.


The thought of watching TWO races (snooz-a-palooza's? ) a summer at Michigan doesn't float my boat.....

Don't give up .Last year there we're a lot of empty seats.On the back stretch I bet 25-30% empty seats.Plus ticket vendors are always outside selling tickets even Bristol.Hope to see you ,just wave.OH ,take cold weather clothing.

I've been keeping my eye open for tickets but I doubt I'll really find any.

I got a call about 5:00 this afternoon from a buddy who can get his hands-on 2 sets of tickets for face-value ($87.50 and $125.00 ):
neither he nor I can go this year, but he says there are plenty of tix availble closer to Daytona (he is in Deltona )
