dead battery

Went out yeterday to take my 84 for a cruise to town...damn battery was almost dead...nice fall day, sun shine...warm...so took my 77Blazer chalet instead and fumming about why the battery went down in the vette.Got about 6 miles from the house, a big ol buck came charging out of the brush and ran smack into the drivers side of the truck, wiped out my mirror and put a small dent in the fender, the force it hit with was enuff to knock the windshield mirror off...all I could think about was what the mess would have been like in the vette..

I hope you got the buck mounted. Vette's are known for draining batteries, C3's because the cables were so long, C4's to present because the computer sips on the battery constantly. When either of my vette's sit, I dis-connect them.

Get a battery tender to keep it charged when not in use.
